[Photos] Farm Animals Roam Hanoi’s Disappearing Green Space

Hanoi, much like the rest of Vietnam, has come a long way in the last few decades. Today, the capital is filled with skyscrapers, expensive infrastructure projects and an endless stream of honking vehicles. Amid Hanoi's rapid development, it's rare enough that you find pockets of green space within the city, let alone farm animals.

Yet on the outskirts of the city, beneath Vinh Tuy Bridge, a fast-disappearing rural landscape is home to roaming herds of sheep and water buffaloes, according to Zing. Bordered by the Red River on one side and urban Hanoi on the other, farm animals from neighboring Gia Lam District graze in the meadow, backed by an ever-changing cityscape in the distance.
