There is a lot to love about Saigon street food.
Beyond the heat, noise and endearingly terse street vendors, the sheer range of the city’s sidewalk cuisine is an impressive feat. On a single street, you may be able to find snails and sushi or braised duck, crab noodles, chicken rice and several varieties of chè.
To pay homage to the city’s endless parade of street food and drinks, students from local art studio My Thuat Bui created a series of colorful illustrations entitled Sai Gon on the Move, depicting the kings of Saigon street food, from staples such as bánh mì and cơm tấm to nhậu favourites like ốc and hột vịt lộn.
