Tropical storm Hagupit hit the Philippines today bringing heavy flooding to some regions and claiming at least three lives. If the storm stays on its current course, it will hit Ho Chi Minh City later this week.
According to AccuWeather.com meteorologist Anthony Sagliani, though the storm will weaken before it makes landfall in Vietnam, it may maintain its status as a tropical storm.
The site added that the area between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang will feel the brunt of the storm with heavy rains and the potentially strong wind gusts.
