Back Society » Architecture » Studio8 Architects Win Contract to Design Khai Tower in PMH

After beating out 15 other competitors, local architecture firm Studio8 has won the contract to design District 7's newest ultra-modern office building.

The Khai Tower, which will serve as head office of Khaisilk Investment Joint Stock Company, is to be located in District 7's Phu My Hung, according to REIC.

Built on the former site of Peninsula Place, a business center and residential housing complex which never came to fruition, the 20-story structure will also include two underground levels. Its location is directly beside Saigon Paragon, in which Khaisilk is also an investor.

Inspired by the soft, luxurious natural elements of Khaisilk's signature product, the tower features a ribbon-like accent around the entire facade of the building. Construction is expected to begin this year and reach completion in the second half of 2017.
