Condé Nast's "10 Reasons To Visit Ho Chi Minh City Now"

In a mix between a Rough Guides list and a "36 Hours" New York Times piece, Condé Nast, one of the World’s leading publishers, recently compiled “10 Reasons To Visit Ho Chi Minh City Now.”

Though the piece highlights some of the city’s best restaurants, the only local flavor is represented by Cục Gạch Quán, Bến Thành Market, Miếu Nổi and the Saigon Post Office. They round out their list with The Refinery, L’Usine, The Deck, Chill Skybar, Luc Binh and Au Parc.

While each of the above is worth a visit, one would miss out on what makes Saigon truly special (can I get a bánh mì or a bowl of hủ tiếu?) with this itinerary, which represents that of an upscale tourist.
