Through the lens of digital artist Lorenz Hideyoshi, Saigon appears serene even in the midst of a hectic day.
To capture his impressions of Saigon, Hideyoshi begins at District 3's Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, setting the tone and slowing the pace of the video.
This distinguishes the video from many others that typically shine the limelight on Saigon’s symphony of noises and chaotic cultural tapestry. Even though there are stills of busy streets as the video goes on, the city seems to remain largely static in Hideyoshi’s portrayal.
