And we thought the plan to reorganize downtown Saigon was ambitious. This new video from The Department of Planning and Architecture of HCMC shows what it envisions to be the future of Saigon.
The video is a 5 minute rendering that basically represents a wish-list of every improvement they could think of from river-side promenades to bus rapid transit systems to massive skyscrapers.
While it may be a pipe dream, and one that apparently has no room for motorbikes, it’s the clearest picture we’ve seen of what city planners have in store for Saigon.
