New Design Competition Seeks To Beautify HCMC

Saigoneer is proud to be the media sponsor for Saigon Makeover, a new design competition for graphic designers, artists and young people at large to share their creative vision of how different parts of HCMC can be beautified.

Rules

1) Take a picture of any part of the city that you think could use a unique graphic improvement – the more open and public the space, the better.

2) Redesign with your favorite design or art tools. Make it look as real as possible.

3) Tell the story and meaning: Write one paragraph, no more than 10 sentences, that describes your design and why you think it is an improvement.

4) Send your entry to saigonmakeover@gmail.com. Your submission will be posted on the Saigon Makeover Facebook Fan Page. Feel free to share your post with friends to get more likes!

Winner: VND10 million

Runner-up: VND5 million

Online voting award: VND5 million

Saigon Makeover is an art and design initiative for the young people of HCMC and is organized by Global Shapers – Ho Chi Minh City Hub.
