[Photos]: Vu Huu Nhung’s “Life” Exhibition

Vũ Hữu Nhung, an heir of Phù Lãng pottery experts, is holding an exhibition of his cutting-edge sculptural artwork in Hanoi.

Phù Lãng Village is known for its skillful artisans who have been making fine pottery since the 18th century and Vũ Hữu Nhung is bringing the practice into the modern age.

In his exhibition “Life,” Vũ Hữu Nhung strips out all colors and detail, focusing on the most basic aspects of pottery. The collection visualizes the evolution of life from the cellular stage to its matured forms.

His work is being shown at the Hanoi Fine Arts Museum through tomorrow.
