This photographer's private home was designed around the trees in the abandoned nursery it was built on.
The structure was designed by Dak Lak-based 7A Architecture for personal and retail space. The terrain and vegetation surrounding the home in the remote area necessitated it be composed of small spaces, according to information provided by the designer, which castes collages of light and shadow on the austere walls.
The modest US$45,000 budget forced the local builders to rely on brinks, stones, and cement in addition to pine wood which grows in abundance in the region. Poured concrete used for the structure was also purposed to create simple furniture as well. The segmented interior will allow the occupant to compartmentalize all facets of his life including sleeping, relaxing, entertaining, dining in addition to displaying and selling his work.
