Back Travel » [Photos] On the Early Morning Trail in Da Lat, Romance and Halcyon in the Mist

Vietnam is a country that rises early. Before the sun comes up, you’ll find street vendors hauling out their wares, elderly people exercising in the park and kids shuffling off to school.

By the time the sun is out in full force, the streets of urban Vietnam transform into a vibrant, action-packed environment full of noise and chaos. Earlier this month, Saigoneer photography intern Andy Ip Thien woke up in the wee hours to document this change across downtown Da Lat, watching as the city turned from misty and fog-filled to bright, bold and bustling.
