Sapa isn’t the only part of Vietnam dealing with record breaking cold weather. Over the past few days, morning and night time temperatures in Saigon dropped to their lowest points in a decade.
Over the weekend, temperatures in Saigon fell to 18-19C due to a cold front moving in from the north, according to the National Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Center.
The cold temperatures look to be short lived as it’s expected that they will rise to normal levels by tomorrow.
Though cold, temperatures in Saigon fell short of the 13C record of January 1993.
While some may have found it a bit too cold for their taste, we actually found it to be quite refreshing!
