The 30-minute show kick-offs with a trip around the city on the bikes of Vietnam Vespa Adventures “which allows passengers to see snapshots of local life and tucked away hot spots,” according to the network’s website.

Suboi acted as the episode’s cultural guide, introducing viewers to “her favorite places that have hints of old Saigon life,” highlighted by a family-style meal at Cuc Gach Quan.

Saigoneer’s resident historian, Tim Doling, took the crew to some of the city’s historical sites to expose the colonial roots that lie under this sprawling, modern city.

You can catch the episode on March 11 at 4:30pm (Vietnam time), with encore presentations at 12:30pm on March 14 and 7:30pm on March 15.
