[Photos] Life in 1973 Saigon - Part 3

On his trip to Saigon in 1973, famed American photographer Nick DeWolf spent a lot of time strolling local streets to capture on film numerous slices of life in the southern city just before the major events of 1975.

DeWolf’s holiday yielded some 200 photos, some of which Saigoneer has featured in previous posts here and here. There’s no doubt that the photographer is a people person, for his snapshots largely portray his subjects – from naked children soaking in the Saigon River to sharply dressed ladies on Nguyen Hue Boulevard – as radiant and authentic individuals that are full of life.
