[Video] Take a Ride on the Saigon Waterbus

Now that the Saigon Waterbus has been open for a few weeks, the service is starting to settle into a rhythm, with six daily trips from each terminus.

Though the service, which is Saigon’s first public water transportation system, faced some initial hiccups – many who came to try the Waterbus during its 10-day free trial period found the service fully booked – it seems things are running a bit more smoothly these days.

Saigoneer recently took a ride on the new Waterbus and found clean, air-conditioned seats inside the vessels, as well as breezy seating on the back deck. The service is a welcomed alternative to the chaos and pollution of Saigon’s streets; however, with limited trips and few stops, there is still room for improvement.
